Panasonic Developing 3D Camcorder
In case you haven't heard, 3D is literally everywhere. Panasonic has built a prototype dual lens full HD camera recorder. While this is only a prototype, it certainly gives us a glimpse of things to come in the 3D arena.
The prototype records full 1080p and all data is recorded onto Panasonic's professional P2 cards. Even though this isn't a production model, it is something to get excited over nonetheless. This could potentially pave the way for watching your favorite shows on TV, or even just local news in 3D. Now there is no excuse for not watching all the quality programming currently on television.
Panasonic hasn't announced any official plans to make a 3D camera, let alone the price for one, but it's clear that Panasonic is interested in 3D and once this model comes out, it shouldn't be too long before we see this trickle down to the consumer level. Who's up for coming over tonight to watch my vacation footage in 3D!?
