Great product, I can always say that DV recording much better quality than recording to hard drives. Battery life is short but I got the bigger battery so, I can record up to four tapes with CGA DU21....

When shopping for camcorders I was torn between this one and several (much more expensive) high definition options. I'm happy to have gone with the GS320. It shoots in 16:9 and the image quality looks great on my 42" HD TV... comparable to watching a DVD...

The canon and the sony's provided accurate pictures, and I certainly wouldnt recommend against them, I just found the Panasonic's to be better...For not having a mic hookup, the sound quality is not that bad...Ofcourse that is more for imovie...
