RCA Small Wonder Starts Shipping to Retailers
It's not the Flip Mino. But it's pretty cute in its own way. The RCA Small Wonder is one of many camcorders jumping on the Mino bandwagon and trying to capitalize on the new pocket camcorder market. Does it stand a chance?
Coming in at under $100, the RCA Small Wonder mini HD camcorder just started shipping out to retailers. The EZ209HD (we personally like calling it the Small Wonder better) is being touted as the sleekest and sexiest Small Wonder ever. A 2-inch LCD screen on the back is pretty good ... but unless you plan on an additional memory card, you'll only be recording about 3 seconds' worth of action on the little guy. The battery only lasts about 2 hours and has a specialized YouTube Capture Mode.
We'll see how it does when facing up against its competitors Sony and The Flip. But, I've said it before, it's hard to go head-to-head with the customization options on the Mino.
