TopTenREVIEWS Review

The Panasonic Vdr-d210 DVD camcorder is a simple, inexpensive, easy-to-use, no frills camcorder that is great for the average user. This camcorder is designed for those wanting to capture birthdays and family vacation, not amateur filmmakers.

The Panasonic Vdr-d210 camcorder is a relatively small device with a2.7 inch LCD screen, 32x optical zoom and an image stabilizer. The battery has an average life between an hour and an hour and a half. You can adjust some advanced features like aperture and white balance; however, the average user my never know or care how to use these features.

Critics and users alike found some aspects of the Panasonic Vdr-d210 a little cumbersome, especially transferring still photo to the computer for editing and docking the battery for charging. The Panasonic Vddr-d210 does take still photos but they are not saved in JPG format, making them difficult to remove from the camcorder to your computer.

If you are a simple guy looking for a simple camcorder, the Panasonic Vdr-d210 is a great addition to your electronics collection.

It is very high-tech, looks good, and saves space...This one records good video even in doors...Yet its LCD only has 130K pixels; its picture color is a little bit white washed; and it has no good still picture support......
